Throughout my experience with this investment bank, brokerage, and advisory firm, I achieved excellent P&L growth in the trading of multi-million dollars in capital to buy-side targets in the entire industrial / TMT sector.Among my Key Responsibilities, I:- Demonstrated proven strengths in trading, buy-side relationship building, and capital products knowledge to successfully position Loop Capital’s capital solutions to a global market.- Recruited five institutional salespeople, with new talent joining the company after having held their respect and confidence as a trader from experience.

After the success with my former employer Jefferies & Co., I made a bold transition to a new firm to explore new challenges and launch a brand-new fixed income desk as part of a group of 11 stakeholders.Among my Selected Accomplishments, I:- Championed the total process to build a new book of business, leveraging Cortview’s portfolio of bonds to manage $300MM in long/short proprietary positions.- Traded an intermediate/long industrial corporate book to a broad spectrum of market segments including Telecom, Media, Technology, Rails, Retailers, Pharma, Chemicals, Paper, Food/Beverage, Manufacturers, Crossovers, and others.- Partnered with a cross-functional team of 30 salespeople to maximize value and profitable trade ideas for as many as 600 institutional customers.- Utilized electronic communications networks (ECNs), as an active market maker on networks including TOMS, Knight, Bond Desk, Bonds.com, and MarketAxess. Achieved strong daily ticket counts of 75-100 with a ~1% fail rate.

Throughout my 9 years of progression and success with this firm, I managed a significant trading book of multi-million dollars in notional value as well as spanning heavy industrial segments including all previously mentioned segments in addition to Aero/Defense, Oil, Gas/Gas-transmission, Pipes, Travel/Lodging, Metals/Miners and REITs. Among my Selected Accomplishments, I: - Played a critical role in growing a regionally focused trading desk from initial concept to #1-#2 secondary trading desks in the industry. Held distinction as #2 ranking trader out of all sell-side traders in trade volume and #1 in MarketAxess ticket count. Accomplished trading P&L of 20MM+ for two consecutive years (2008 & 2009) with outcomes of 10MM+ in surrounding years.- Provided valuable input and direction behind the expansion of the sales team from 15 to 35, exercising sound judgment to develop a high-performing team capable of supporting 1200 accounts and 400 broker/dealers.- Served as the driving force behind the integration of Jefferies’ IG and HY sales/trading activity, representing a comprehensive technical and operational assimilation culminating in growth on all fronts.- Persevered in gaining experience across several new segments within the industrial book, after prior experience in bank and finance segments exclusively.
