I oversee corporate communications for Paramount Global's International Markets' Broadcast and Studios businesses, notably our free-to-air networks including Channel 5 in the UK and Network 10 in Australia. I lead the UK's communications function, overseeing a multi-disciplinary team working across corporate communications and brand publicity for Channel 5, Paramount+, Pluto TV and our pay brands including MTV and Comedy Central.

I am a Governor at Valley Gardens Middle School, an Ofsted 'outstanding' rated state middle school in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside. As a member of the Board of Governors we help support the school senior leaders to maintain high standards and deliver an excellent education for almost 800 pupils. As part of the role I am Chair of the Resources Committee, responsible for governance of the school's operations and financial management.

I provide communications advice and executive and corporate counsel to help businesses and organisations deliver their strategic and commercial goals.

As Director of Communications & Corporate Affairs I was a member of Channel 4’s Executive Management Board and led a team of specialists spanning corporate and consumer comms, public affairs and public policy, events and corporate brand, and internal comms. I was the primary communications advisor to the CEO, Chair and Board and led all communications for our content, commercial and public service activity. I helped develop and launch Channel 4’s new digital transformation strategy, Future4, as well as its renewed Purpose and Vision; provided strategic advice through the Government’s consultation on the Future of Channel 4 and response to Ofcom’s review of PSB; as a key member of the Exec Management Board, helped the organisation navigate through and emerge successfully from the impact of the pandemic; and was particularly proud to be a key member of the team that developed and delivered the 4AlltheUK strategy to spread 4’s impact across the UK, opening new bases in Leeds, Bristol and Glasgow.

As Head of Communications I was a key member of Channel 4’s leadership team and led the organisation's corporate and consumer communications and PR activity. This included award-winning content campaigns from the return of The Great British Bake Off through to the Paralympic Games – which delivered viewing, streaming, and commercial growth as well as attitudinal change; and noisy corporate campaigns to support commercial and public service activity, from the launch of All 4 through to the organisation’s Diversity in Advertising award and the 4AlltheUK competition to find a new home for Channel 4’s National HQ.
