My Thesis, titled "Stepping Outside the Ivory Tower: The role of community-based research in transformation and social change" examines the role of 2 community-based research groups in Berlin and Milan to better understand how they've contributed to the creation, exchange and sharing of local knowledge in order to produce better outcomes in the field of community development and urban regeneration.

- Taught English to Italian students of different ages and levels, in group and individual settings; - Prepared and mentored students for TOEFL, IELTS, FCE, PET and KET exams; - Collaborated with colleagues to ‘team teach’ selected students.

I taught children ages 4-12 English as a foreign language. It was a challenge not being able to communicate fully with the students, but it is all part of it!

- Managed operations team of 4 individuals- Assisted managers in development of new centralised group- Dealt directly with outside clients to resolve issues- Produced monthly metric reporting and analysed trends- Worked as oversight to daily operations- Trained all new employees coming onto the team- Worked cooperatively with team from India to successfully outsource operationsWorking alongside my managers at State Street Bank, we successfully transformed our four person pilot group supporting 15 clients, into a full twenty person team supporting our whole division. Every month during the process we were given new clients and new team members. I was assigned to properly train all new members joining the team and analyse monthly volumes to assure we had the appropriate staff, in addition to performing my daily responsibilities. After the 7 month process our team was supporting over 200 clients. With my knowledge and expertise I quickly became the go to team member for questions and concerns. For the successful transition, I was awarded for my demonstrated leadership ability and excellence. Several months after the transition, we were told we would be outsourcing most of our operations to our office in India. For 2 months we had a group 8 people training with us at our location, as well as training online to 6 other members in India. We developed strong relationships with many of them and were happy to help whenever possible. While it was not easy stressing the timely importance of our responsibilities to some members of the team, we achieved our goals. Once again, I became the go to person for questions and concerns for almost the whole team in India.

- Worked alongside accounting team to support transport operations- Assembled project invoices and initiated new projects in the system- Learned about various current and developing projects in the transport industry - Discovered my passion for transportHaving the opportunity to work for Cambridge Systematics is the sole reason for where I am today. I may have never realised about the transportation planning and engineering if it wasn't for working here. Discovering the types of projects that goes on at a transport consulting firm has led me to pursue my career in this field.

-Provided expertise to customers on current winter and summer sports hard goods, clothing and accessories-Tuned and adjusted customers skis and bikes according to specifications
