Applied provisions of the Endangered Species Act while performing biological surveys for the federally-protected Piping Plover in Dartmouth and Westport, MA. This was my 3rd season overall surveying for this species, with one previous season for Massachusetts Audubon Society on Cape Cod, MA and another with USFWS in Chincoteague, VA. Also surveyed Least and Common Tern colonies and GPS'ed their nest locations. Wrote end-of-season reports on Piping Plover and Least Tern breeding success and submitted them to state officials. Maintained relationships with private landowners. Also interacted with local officials and other non-profit organizations.
