As a recruiter at MEI Rigging & Crating, I am responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates for various positions in the machinery moving, equipment installation, and industrial services industry. I leverage my 20 years of experience in the U.S. Coast Guard, where I served as a senior master/captain, a law enforcement officer, a talent acquisition specialist, and a military recruiter, to identify and attract talent with the right skills, attitude, and potential.I have a passion for talent acquisition and full cycle recruiting, as well as a strong background in emergency management and preparedness, training and development, ship and boat operations, and homeland security operations. I hold a bachelor's degree in homeland security, law enforcement, firefighting, and related protective services, an associate's degree in general studies, a USCG 100-ton master license with tow endorsement, a federal law enforcement officer certification, and a law enforcement instructor certification. I am also a search and rescue expert, who led and participated in numerous missions and received multiple awards and honors, including the Coast Guard Achievement Medal and the Enlisted Recruiter of the Year. My goal is to use my skills, knowledge, and experience to help MEI Rigging & Crating grow and succeed.
