I will be leading a program of works for Vinci Facilities, managing billable works on c70 military bases across the South East of England. Facing off to Defence Infrastructure Organisation, heading up a team of PMOs to support the Senior Project Managers and their Project Managers split across our Regions

I am working with teams of SMEs across the MSS Chief Controls Office and the wider business to uplift how we manage our non-financial risk: tracking progress across the various workstreams; escalating risks and issues as they emerge and building solutions; and ensuring that the benefits are realised through training, communications and maturity assessments. The end result will be simpler and streamlined risk management processes that better support role holders across the framework.This is closer to the business than my previous roles in the bank and I am learning constantly, supported by a growing network of colleagues across the CCO and asset classes.

As part of the GBM-wide Conduct Programme, I am responsible for the delivery of two Workstreams: People Management and Culture, Communications and Learning. This means I own and manage our part of the plan with the SMEs and stakeholders - from the controls office, communications teams and HR specialists up to GBM ExCo members - as they carry out their activities to meet our overall business outcomes. With a broad remit of changes to see implemented, including a 'test and adjust' strategy of applying diverse pilot projects to influence different aspects of the business' culture and behaviours, the challenge will be in defining a meaningful way to spread best practice globally and report progress and success across largely intangible deliverables.

Workstream Change Lead (Programme Manager) Delivering changes to the Client Selection and Exit Management (CSEM) function, ie how the Bank manages customers posing financial crime risk, decides on the way to handle the risk and executes the resulting actions. Based on country responses to a Questionnaire derived from a target end-state Framework, the programme managed plans to uplift CSEM teams in countries and regions to revised global standards. Produced accurate and detailed reporting against programme themes, progress and milestones as part of global change programme reporting cycles, as well as FRB, FSVC and Monitor team briefings

Professional project context analysis, communicating measured recommendations to Board Level programme steering group after close collaboration with local stakeholders.Proactive assessment and refinement of security risk management plan, according to military policy.Assertive leadership and development of senior soldiers achieved through delegation and monitoring of management tasks, successfully assessing and preparing suitable candidates for future leadership roles.

Project manager, responsible for leadership and management of a 30-strong military construction team during training and deployment on six-month tour of duty in Iraq.Successfully delivered eleven construction projects for UK, US and Iraqi clients, with budgets ranging to USD750k+ camp builds, diligently applying accurate reporting and scheduling adherence.Selected for 4-month attachment to Australian Defence Force as part of best-practice sharing initiative, during which I managed a Combat Engineer Squadron of 80 soldiers through series of training exercises.
