An interim role in the UK manufacturing operation of a global company with head offices in the USA. I took on various projects including some that had previously been considered impossible, and implemented new financial systems and processes to deliver a cohesive, reliable, global finance function.

I set up suitable, scalable financial and administrative systems whilst delivering organisational strategy across the core business areas. Ultimately, I handed over a high-functioning finance department to a permanent successor.

As a key board member for this £20m sales and manufacturing subsidiary, I held full executive responsibility for finance and IT, as well as operations, supply chain and planning. I delivered a range of initiatives which sped up processing time, refined the reporting cycle and transformed the finance function to support commercial decision making.

I held specific responsibility for bottling and projects pertaining to capex, product delivery and marketing of Lucozade, Ribena and Lucozade Sport. I worked across various divisions and supported a range of strategic initiatives to improve processes and increase profit margin.

In addition to finance functions, I also oversaw IT operations for several international subsidiaries across this privately owned group. I developed and implemented systems and controls to allow the management team to focus on strategy rather than execution.
