Responsible for Case Management and Job Readiness programming and the facilitation of employment education and financial readiness curriculum for reentry and underserved members of the Baton Rouge Community

Performs highly responsible administrative and supervisory work in administering the social services programs at Community Service Centers. Work involves responsibility for the planning, development, and operation of various social service programs, as well as the daily operation and maintenance of the community center building. Work is performed with considerable independence within the funding requirements of federal, state, and local governments.

Performs professional work in the operation of employment and training programs designed to increase the employability of currently unemployed individuals. Work involves performing a variety of relatively complex duties concerned with determining eligibility and enrollment of applicants (youth and adults); negotiating job training contracts; diagnostic employment counseling for participants; analyzing results of complex employability assessment instruments, and monitoring activities of sub-recipients under contract with program of assignment. Supervision may be exercised over clerical personnel, volunteer workers, or special contract employees.
