Dedicated Facilities Management Professional | Safety Advocate | ESG EnthusiastExperienced Facilities Management Professional with a strong focus on health and safety compliance, budget management, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives. I'm here to share a bit about my journey in the world of facilities management. In my current role as an Operations Coordinator at CBRE's St Enoch Centre, I have the privilege of serving as the bridge between tenants, clients, and service providers. It's been a rewarding experience as I've worked on-site health and safety compliance using CAFM systems to manage thousands of jobs during my time. These systems have helped streamline our operations and elevate our facility management practices.I've had the opportunity to be involved in 25 significant shop fitouts, each with its unique set of challenges and learning experiences. Managing budgets, collaborating with various teams, and delivering successful projects has been a fulfilling part of my journey. Additionally, I've overseen dozens of minor fitouts and refurbishments, always with the aim of enhancing our facilities for all stakeholders.I take pride in constantly achieving top-tier site health and safety compliance within the Scottish region. It's a reflection of our team's commitment to maintaining the highest standards and ensuring the well-being of everyone in our centre.Another highlight of my career has been the honour of winning St Enoch Centre's ROSPA gold award for three consecutive years, starting from my first application in 2022.In my role, I'm responsible for compiling and managing essential management information, including asset registers and critical plans. My passion lies in fostering strong relationships with our customers and tenants while collaborating with local authorities when necessary. My approach to risk management involves proactively addressing issues, deep dive projects, and supporting major work programs.I believe that effective communication and transparency are keys to success. This philosophy extends to producing management reports that align with business requirements and effectively managing and controlling incidents. In my journey, I've come to value the importance of maintaining high-quality standards within the centre, ensuring a culture of excellence remains a constant. As I continue my journey, I look forward to connecting and exploring opportunities for growth and collaboration.
