About James Mccann
I have interests and aspirations to become a on-trend consumer product designer. The effect that a product can have on people in their everyday lives is important to me. Good design combines a range of variable emotions within the user on a positive scale, resolving the challenges to make a product both aesthetically pleasing and functionally apt. These challenges are constantly evolving with trends and my dream is to be the creator of that evolution.I am a graduate from Swinburne University of Technology with a Bachelor of Engineering (Product Design Engineering), providing me with skills that cover both engineering and design. This education has brought an understanding of what is required to become successful within my working field.My work at IDM Instruments has allowed me to utilise my skill set in CAD Modelling and Drafting, Product Research and Product Design, for their Measuring and Testing Instruments. I accept and resolve the challenges that arise and it has created a drive for improvement and expanded knowledge.
