I believe that politics is about more than just politicians - it's about people. My mission is to work collaboratively with my colleagues to get to the heart of the issues that impact communities and give them a voice in shaping the future of our region.In 2024, I was honoured to be named Journalist of the Year at the Northern Ireland Media Awards.Since joining Belfast Live in February 2023, I’ve reported across news, politics, and lifestyle, before taking on the dedicated political role in September 2024. Prior to that, I cut my teeth as a reporter at the Andersonstown News.I hold both a MA in Journalism and a BSc (Hons) in Politics from Ulster University. In 2023, I was privileged to participate in the 25@25 Programme, marking the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement. This leadership initiative included a transformative study period at Babson College in Boston, where I honed my skills in entrepreneurial thought and action.At the core of my work is a passion for holding those in power accountable, while also recognising the efforts of those who strive to create a better Northern Ireland.
