I earned my PhD in Geophysics at Boise State University where I conducted research in cryospheric studies using microseismic. My research interests are experimental methods and new geophysical observation techniques involving snow and ice analysis, signal processing (e.g., wavefield interferometry, time-frequency analysis), numerical wave propagation modeling and inverse methods, and active and passive seismic processing and interpreting.My current research is utilizing a laser ultrasound system to analyze the mechanical properties and microstructure of snow and ice.
