As a senior consultant with Evergrowth Consulting Ltd. I am responsible for accounting and accounting system related consulting for clients. My skills range from Dynamics GP second- and third- level support in a multi-database environment, to controllership consulting of small to medium sized enterprises. I bring a vast array of system knowledge mixed with operational accounting experience to the client, and help the client grow and respond to its environment. Additionally, I am capable of creating modules within Dynamics GP to customer specifications.As a project manager I am capable of undertaking medium sized teams to develop and deploy new technologies and systems to aid clients. I also provide business analysis in support of projects from small teams through to large, enterprise wide teams. In this position I was responsible for supporting and maintaining the business applications for Essential Energy Services Ltd. Included applications were FormSoft, Spira and Great Plains. I also helped with the design of the system, including chart of accounts design, process design (as applied to the computer systems), report writing and generalized system support. I wrote some SQL, C# and VBA coding for specific application within the systems.

In this position, I was doing contract work with Robert Half, and previously worked on FRx report development for a client of Robert Half's. I also provided Great Plains support for a client, as well as project planning and support. During this time I implemented the fixed asset module in Great Plains for two companies under the banner of the client, fully tested and functional in an extremely tight deadline.

Divisional controller in charge of one of the subsidiaries of Horizon North Logistics. I was responsible for full-cycle accounting, and leading a team of four people. I implemented new controls, policies and systems to help ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the accounting for the division. During this time, I also implemented the Fixed Assets Management module in Great Plains, and assisted in the creation of the financial reporting systems used by the division, and the parent corporation.

Senior accounting consultant for controllership consulting. Provided services ranging from forecasting to full-cycle financial statement production for multiple clients. During my time with this company, I also provided support for the user base at multiple clients in their accounting system.

Full controller of a fish-farming operation. Responsibilities included systems selection and implementation, project accounting, process auditing, full-cycle accounting. During my time at Creative Salmon, I implemented upgrades to their networks, computer systems, servers and accounting systems. This was in addition to my duties as a financial controller for the company.

In this part time position, I generally taught evening courses in Excel 1, Excel 2 and Excel 3. This involved using the Ucluelet Campus facilities. I was occasionally dispatched to companies in the Tofino and Ucluelet areas to teach any one or a combination of these three courses. I was also available through the College for private lessons or tutoring in the use of Excel.

Was responsible for the corporate accounting functions in the Canadian Hotel Accounting division, with a variety of companies ranging from five to seven different hotels, with varying accounting needs. Also was responsible for all fixed asset accounting in a publicly traded company for over 100 locations, from procurement to pay, through financial reporting.
