James has developed almost two decades of experience in the business, leadership and management industry. His company is built upon integrity and compassion for others forming a rare standard of excellence within his business ventures. With such experience, James has a self-starter, motivated attitude when it comes to his company and personal endeavors. This has driven him to success within both garage door companies he has owned as well as a desire to create the nonprofit organization Climbing For Carleen. James opened his first garage door service business in 1997 in Arlington, Texas. From there he succeeded in his business efforts in the garage door service industry and decided to bring his success to Colorado by opening a second company in Palmer Lake. By this time the expertise James had acquired throughout the years exemplified his passion for helping others. During this time of high success for both companies, James' wife fell under extreme illness due to liver disease. James began to seek out help to save his wife's life. As he began to devote his time to the research of liver disease he decided to do something bigger than himself and he started the project Climbing For Carleen. He climbed his first mountain in his wife’s name to raise awareness for liver disease and Hepatitis C. Climbing For Carleen is an official 5013C nonprofit dedicated to saving lives through testing. James and his son Kendell have summited many 14,000 foot peaks and are involved in many events to raise awareness. Climbing For Carleen offers advice, education and testing for those who are or may be affected by Hepatitis C. The organization has recently obtained a CLIA waive allowing the capability to do free Hepatitis C testing in a controlled medical environment.
