Prodcuct Engineer responsible for the Mechanical development of Touch Screen Monitors

• Involved in all phases of Cellular phone development from the initial Industrial Design to Production release• Oversaw the development and testing of phone assemblies, injection molded plastic and sheet metal sub-assemblies and various components developed by Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) to ensure parts were qualified for production release• Used Pro Engineer to design injection molded plastic and sheet metal components for high volume cellular phone production (up to 2MM units)• Supported and completed design validation testing (DVT) to ensure all new individual parts and phone assemblies met company reliability and performance standards; performed root cause failure analysis and developed and implemented solutions for all DVT failures• Interacted with manufacturing engineering to improve manufacturability, yields, and assembly time of phone assemblies during product development (DFM and DFA)
