James is Chief Operating Officer at Datitude, a growing B2B technology company that’s transforming how businesses connect, integrate, unify, and make sense of their data. Aways a techie, James’ expertise is in systems engineering and infrastructure, systems integration, database technologies, and digital and retail systems. His extensive experience has been heavily focused on digital and data transformations and new systems integrations, particularly within ecommerce and retail, working for two very successful, high-growth, B2B technology companies – Datitude and Fresca. Having started his career at Fresca – one of the UK’s leading e-commerce platform providers, which was sold to BT Plc in 2008 and became part of BT Expedite’s retail solutions business, most of his career has been with Datitude. Joining as an Integration & Data Analyst, James was subsequently promoted to Senior Platform Technologist and then to Client Services & Operations Manager before becoming COO in 2021. James has been a key player in Datitude’s growth journey; both technically - developing a modern, cloud-native technology stack that supports leading-edge data architecture, advanced analytics, and seamless integrations, and operationally - leading day-to-day operations, including tech deployments, systems integrations, service delivery and client support that are amongst the best in the business. When not working, James still has his work cut out for him with a young family of 3 boys and studying for a degree in Business Management. He has also set up and run a successful coffee roasting business which is a personal passion.
