Head of Operations at Signal Group Ltd: Instruments and Automotive Divisions.I continued to head up the Engineering department, with the responsibilities as outlined below as Chief Engineer, and also manage the general operations of the manufacturing facility.

I headed the Engineering team in the design and development of a new range of precision emissions measurement instruments and associated gas sample handling equipment. I was also responsible for maintaining the design schedule of the existing range of instruments and other equipment, together with associated documentation. All of this was done whilst maintaining and improving our ISO9001 status, dealing with obsolete components, and obtaining and maintaining various instrument certifications (MCERTs, etc).

My starting role, fresh from University, was as Development Engineer for Signal Group Ltd. This involved various engineering disciplines, including the use of CAD, various short-, and long-term testing regimes for new and existing components, new product design, existing product design schedule maintenance, key customer account management, and supplier contact, among others.
