As a Host Relationship Manager, my role is to maximise the business impact of a partnership with Planit for our accommodation partners.Our service is a game changer for short-term accommodation providers. It creates or streamlines their travel and concierge departments by providing their guests with a Personal Travel Assistant, offering recommendations, advice, and support from the moment they book their trip to their departure date.Our custom-built travel app is a first-of-its-kind experience booking platform and itinerary management system. It allows guests to curate a custom itinerary at their convenience, booking everything they need in one place, with local knowledge and expertise available from our team when needed.Working closely with new and existing partners, from single property hosts to large hotel chains, we integrate Planit touchpoints into the existing architecture of their guests' journey to promote engagement. This ranges from a mention in pre-trip messages to a variety of in-room collateral.We provide support in our area of expertise, ensuring our partners can focus on providing a seamless and exceptional accommodation experience to their guests. I oversaw the transfer of shares and portfolios consisting of US and UK equities, government bonds, unit trusts, and investment trusts from financial institutions located in the UK and around the world to HSBC's new electronic trading platform, HSBC Investdirect.Using the SWIFT platform, I placed trades and verified transfer requests, negotiated trade and settlement dates, and ensured seamless transactions on behalf of our clients. I maintained compliance with regulations throughout the process and monitored transfer activity for any irregularities.
