My name is Max Medlock, and I am currently a double major in Finance and Management at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. I am a passionate, ambitious, and high-achieving student who is passionate about the finance industry. My studies and work experience have sharpened my abilities to solve real-world problems as I collaborate with and lead peers.I’ve developed strong skills in problem-solving and strategic thinking. For example, during my internship at Bell and Alexander Title Services, I effectively organized and analyzed ledger reports for each month's services. This experience taught me how to manage tight deadlines, communicate effectively, and adapt quickly to new challenges—all while maintaining a collaborative and positive team dynamic.I strongly value hard work and achievement, and dedicate myself to these concepts as I continually gain more knowledge and experience.Looking ahead, along with higher education, my goal is to pursue a career in financial planning or wealth management, where I can further develop my skills in client relationship building and contribute to long-term financial growth. I’m especially excited about the vast variety of careers out there that would benefit me professionally. In addition to my academic pursuits, I’m actively involved in the Business Fellows Honors Program and Beta Upsilon Chi, which have allowed me to build leadership skills and make meaningful contributions to my community. I’ve learned how to balance multiple priorities, motivate myself and others, and remain resilient under pressure.I’m currently seeking part-time roles and internships where I can apply my skills, gain valuable experience, and grow.
