In this role, I collaborated with a team of experts to analyze geospatial data collected from satellites and other sources, including historical and environmental variables.This project required extensive knowledge of data science, machine learning, and remote sensing technology. RACQ is a mutual organisation and Queensland’s largest Club, providing services including roadside assistance, insurance, banking and travel to its approximately 1.75 million members.During my time at RACQ, I was responsible for analyzing the Net Promoter Score for Home Claims and identifying the top 7 contributors to detractors. To do this, I utilized my expertise in SQL and created queries to collect data from AWS Redshift and Athena.Additionally, I utilized AWS Data Wrangler and Sagemaker to develop classification models, such as XGBoost and MLP, achieving a high 92% classification rate on test data. I also established SHAP values for variables associated with detractors.Finally, I presented the results to management and the wider team by creating a visually appealing PowerBI Dashboard.

This involved utilizing my expertise in SQL to extract information from various databases and develop scripts to perform data cleaning and analysis.Using Qlik Sense, I designed an intuitive dashboard that I presented to my team, directors, and other clinicians. One of my notable achievements during this project was developing a novel SQL technique that generated flags to identify outliers resulting from poor data entry.To ensure smooth progress, I adopted a self-managed approach, and I used Kanban Boards to track my progress and communicate with my managers. The success of this project contributed significantly to the hospital's mission to deliver sustainable, compassionate, and highly reliable healthcare services, positioning it as a leader in the Australian healthcare industry.
