During my tenure, I helped grow the business from 3 locations to 16, and rose to the position of Chief Operation Officer. Over my 8 year tenure, including the last 2 as VP of Operations/COO, I was responsible for developing and executing strategic plans for all day-to-day operations of 16 retail locations across 3 states with 500+ employees. I helped author many of current SOPs, and created multiple new leadership roles to oversee expansion and provide leadership and oversight as company grew, including new regional managers and recruiters, and a manager-in-training program. I personally oversaw the operations components of launching and opening 9 new Aqua-Tots locations in Atlanta and Virginia. Some of my other accomplishments include:- Led upgrades to multiple systems to accommodate growth, including change from using local accountant to ADP for payroll and HCM services, Zoom Phone, multiple ATS, Hydroapps to manage aquatics operations- Advised the leadership team made of up of franchise owners and a few select positions during the COVID pandemic, helping develop strategies to navigate the challenges a 2 or 3 month shutdown of in-person service during the COVID pandemic, as well as the increased demand in the immediate 2 years following the pandemic- Awarded the 2022 Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Think Outside the Box award in 2022 for my efforts to push the business into new technologies and innovative thinking around swim school operations. -Developed new reporting techniques to provide better oversight of swim instructors' communication with parents-Increased participation and thus revenue for our annual retention promotional sale each July, resulting in increased cashflow and customer retention-Created many of the budgeting tools for individual retail location to manage revenue and labor costs-Personally built simple API connection to our POS software to eliminate human error in data used by the operations and leadership team to analyze operational performance

I currently serve as the Community Manager for Chatham County and Savannah, GA. I work with the community to help raise awareness and generate income to complete the mission of the American Cancer Society: to eliminate cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and dminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy, and service. I'm here fighting every cancer in this community, everyday.

-Supervise, train, develop staff to provide high quality program-Plan, implement and supervise specialized summer day camp which includes planning youth sports, nature hikes, arts and crafts-Be fiscally responsible while providing valuable core YMCA programs, and building relationships with members, potential donors, and participants-Directing a staff of almost 40, plan and lead in-service trainings and schedule other trainings to develop staff.-Lead campaign teams that achieved departmental goal of over $5000 for our annual fundraising campaign.-Train all YMCA staff in CPR and First Aid.-Develop new programs to better serve customer needs.-Assist other directors in implementing programs such as afterschool care, gymnastics, volleyball, etc.-Volunteer as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 268, teaching swimming and lifesaving.-Created a team-oriented work environment that retains staff and builds relationships with customers-Work with Gwinnett County schools to host Special Olympics, and volunteer on Saturdays to teach adapted swim lessons
