Enlisted soldier in the U.S. Army from 2003 to 2008 with the MOS 91K (68K).Served with the 14th Combat Support Hospital (CSH) out of Fort Benning, GA.Deployed to New Orleans, LA for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts from September to October 2005.Deployed to Forward Operating Base (FOB) Salerno, Khost Province Afghanistan, as part of Operation Enduring Freedom VII from January 2006 to January 2007.In charge of the Medical Laboratory and Blood Bank for the FOB Salerno Hospital during deployment to Afghanistan.In charge of the power team which is responsible for designing, setting up, connecting, and maintaining the electrical power system for the CSH during field operations.
