My position's responsibility is to maintain all financial corners of the corporation, from the mundane such as receiving and entering invoices from subcontractors and invoicing clients, to high level functions such as monitoring gross profits of jobs and the company as a whole, I get to enjoy working with everyone in the company and on every thing we do. I work with several different types of software as well, such as Buildertrend, Clear Estimates, and of course Quickbooks.

Working alongside upper management, my role is to assume the duties of accountants that work beyond entry level roles as needed over the course of weeks or months. I have worked alongside Vice Presidents of Accounting and Business Directors to fill in for such roles as Senior Accountant and Controller, which has allowed me to gain experience in higher level functions such as managing CSV imports to Netsuite and Quickbooks, run the accounting functions of outside programs such as NLS (Northridge Loan System) and BuilderTrend, manage cash flow and cash availability for the company on a daily basis in order to cover bills and payroll, and conducting meetings to review the financial impact of other departments and finally changing processes to leave these positions more efficient and effective than they were when I arrived.

Working directly with the CEO and Controller, this position encompasses complete responsibility for invoicing projects, property management and accounts receivable oversight. Furthermore, assisting with accounts payable, collections and interfacing with construction project managers are all responsibilities attended to on a daily basis, with tax preparation assistance at year end rounding out the list of tasks performed.

Aided in the transition from Pamela S. Monroe CPA to CGC Accountants & Advisors after sale of our firm. Taught employees of CGC how to properly handle clients, process monthly journal entries, and provided partners with recommendations concerning how to handle new clients.

Worked alongside clients to perform or assist in Bookkeeping, prepared Payroll & Sales Tax Returns, and worked alongside CPAs in preparation of Federal and multiple State income tax returns.
