Charter School Operations Manager
CurrentEnsures that all applicable State standards for curriculum and teaching are being met.Supervises the retention, attendance, and academic performance of all students.Development of and monitors performance against the annual budget; supervises and participates in developing, implementing and evaluating plans, work processes, systems and procedures to achieve annual goals.Conducts comprehensive and continuous evaluation of compliance efforts related to WASC, LCAP, audits, grants, title funds and state reporting.Works closely with the MAAC Board Education Committee, the MAAC Board and others to ensure appropriate program planning, governance, monitoring, and community relations; coordinates communications and activities with Sweetwater Union High School District, grant providers, and WASC.Coordination of employee labor relations, including negotiations and contract administration practices.Coordination and implementation of human resource management, including recruitment, selection, HRIS, EEO/affirmative action, classification, compensation, benefits, Workers’Compensation, employee and labor relations, employee development, performance planning and appraisal.Supports the coordination of grant application processes, timely submission of documents, as well as any supplemental or other requests; assists with the development of additional funding sources, including state programs, title funds, grants, gifts, etc. to enhance program operations including writing and submitting grant proposals.Prepares all required fiscal regulatory reports for submittal to Sweetwater, California Department of Education, and/or other agencies; assists with all funding source/regulatory audits and monitoring visits
