Axis 4473 – a replacement for a legacy desktop application that became out of compliance with new ATF regulations in January 2017. Built as a proving ground for our next-generation architecture using Azure hosted microservices written in .Net Core, C#, Entity Framework, and using an Angular 2 front end.Axis Multistore and Ecommerce API – provides capability to share information between retail locations, and an API endpoint for conducting ecommerce transactions for membership sales, range reservations, educational, and product purchases. Technologies utilized include NServiceBus, Azure storage, cloud services, ASP.Net WebApi, Angular, Quartz.net.Axis Retail System – a robust Point of Sale and inventory management system, specialized for the needs of the independent firearms dealer and range operator. WPF, WCF, SQL Server, windows services.Axis Messaging Service – a SignalR hub that notifies clients of certain events, such as federally mandated reports generated, and impending software udpates.Axis Deployment – As the customer base grew and the product evolved, a replacement of the click-once deployment was necessary. This custom software distribution tool provides granular rollout of new versions to the customer base, and updates all installed components on the customers server before updating the customer workstations. Utilized WiX Toolkit, TFS, ASP.NET MVC4, SignalR, SQL Server Data-tier Application Component Packages.Monitoring for devops team, I designed, developed and deployed a quick solution to provide visibility to the devops team failures encountered on customers workstations by uploading log info to an Azure storage account and notifying the team Slack channel with an Azure Function App (serverless!) as soon as errors were encountered.
