Boots UK treasury lead managing, forecasting and budgeting £15 billion of annual cash flow for Boots UK, supporting and reporting to the UK Finance Director, Group Treasury, FP&A and Financial Reporting. • Principal Boots UK treasury contact with Group Treasury (front, middle & back office).• Daily liquidity management of 15 GBP and 7 currency (USD, JPY, EUR, THB & HKD) bank accounts across Boots UK.• FX hedging $250m and €250m of annual cashflows through forwards and swaps including hedge accounting under US GAAP.• Negotiation and management of a $10bn factoring agreement with investment banks.• Management, drawdown, reconciliation and settlement of in-house cash and loan documentation in excess of £3bn across 30 subsidiaries.• Daily advice to front office on liquidity requirements of two cash pools.• Daily reporting and reconciliation of cash reporting and variance analysis to Group Treasury middle office and Boots UK CFO & Controller.• Development and maintenance of cash and accounting reporting tools using RBS Bankline, SAP and Excel to minimise excess surplus or deficit cash holdings to within 98-99% accuracy on £1.3bn of gross monthly cashflow.• Leading and formulating the value-dated budget and rolling three-monthly cashflow forecast process.• Liaison with colleagues across commercial finance, shared services, tax, legal and various group functions.

Providing financial modelling, strategic commercial real estate advice, reporting and account management for multinational clients including GlaxoSmithKline, Royal Dutch Shell, Pfizer, Level 3 Communications, Aviva, Morgan Stanley and Barclays.• On behalf of Royal Dutch Shell, created bespoke financial models and reports using SAP and Excel to analyse a multi-billion dollar business strategy across 6 six countries in Asia Pacific (Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines). This was managed from London via colleagues in Singapore, but reported to Shell in Houston, Texas.• On behalf of Aviva, created bespoke valuation models and reports for a multi-year budget of their UK corporate portfolio.
