In my role, I was entrusted with testing various VoIP devices for protocol conformance and interoperability. This encompassed creating multi-vendor test environments of varying scales to mimic different scenarios, executing comprehensive test plans, and generating detailed reports. My primary focus was on SIP and RTP/SRTP protocols, but I also gained experience with MGCP, H.323, XMPP, and ISDN-based equipment. I actively contributed to the development of new test plans and tools, ensuring compliance with various profiles of base and extension specifications, primarily from IETF.As I advanced in my position, I took on leadership responsibilities, including training and supervising testers and ensuring the accuracy of their reports.In my final two years, I expanded my role to encompass managing the web development team while continuing to oversee the VoIP consortium. I also served as the software architect for an innovative internal CRM/CMS tool designed to streamline daily workflows and enhance customer communication. This tool remains actively used by all UNH-IOL employees and receives regular updates with new features. Its implementation has significantly improved operational efficiency and strengthened customer relations.
