As part of the APC's educational outreach program my role was to deliver interactive workshops to prepare secondary level students to take part in the Debating Science Issues (DSI) regional and national debating competitions.Workshops involved giving an unbiased presentation on a scientific topic that repeatedly emerges in the media. This was followed by an in interactive session where I encouraged students to discuss and give their opinions on the topic.
