James P. Nick serves as Chief Operating Officer of Dental Care Alliance. In this role, James has responsibility for the P&L of over 400 current affiliated practices as well as the company's business development efforts to further growth and integrations with newly opened or affiliated practices. As such, his focus is dedicated to People & Patients so everyone at DCA can further the mission of supporting dental professionals so they can create a lifetime of healthy smiles.Previously, James served as DCA's Chief Revenue Officer, a role he held since 2018. In this role, James oversaw multiple support functions that help ensure growth for DCA’s affiliated practices – marketing, analytics, project management, and insurance contracting & management. Prior to DCA, James had been with Humana for nearly 12 years with responsibilities spanning pricing, analytics, market management, underwriting, network development, and strategy during that time. During this time, James oversaw significant growth in both provider network scope and dental product profitability. James holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Wisconsin and a Masters of Business Administration Degree in Healthcare Management from St. Norbert College. James, his wife, and three young children live in the Green Bay, WI area and have been active in that community. James served on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters for 6 years, including 3 years as President. He’s also previously served on the Mayor’s Young Professional Advisory Council, is a graduate of Leadership Green Bay, and a recipient of the Future 15 award from the Greater Green Bay Chamber.
