I am currently working leading the team responsible for various aspects of Mastercard's tokenization platform (the Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES)). I am responsible for setting Mastercard's tokenized fraud detection, and prevention strategy as well as helping detect and mitigate fraud events. Additionally our global team is responsible for key elements of platform modernization, and new features and functionality to help all of our customers across the world that use MDES to support Apple Pay, Google Wallet, Samsung Pay, and card on file tokenization.

In this role, I worked on two key projects. From late 2017 to early 2019, I was the European technical lead on EMVCo Secure Remote Commerce (SRC). SRC is a standardised, secure and simple way to checkout online. As the technical product lead, I was responsible for ensuring that all the European requirements are captured, planned and delivered, that the key stakeholders are educated, that the systems will be secure, and ensuring that SRC works with Mastercard's card on file tokenisation system. Additionally, as part of this role, I was heavily focused on European regulation (PSD2 and GDPR) and the impact on our digital products.Prior to working on SRC in this role, I worked on mobile NFC and remote payments projects, including the Mastercard Digital Enablement System and its initial European deployment. My role focused around the product management of Mastercard's digital solutions, including the technology, rules, specifications, quality, testing and implementation of complex mobile deployment projects. Along with a great team, I helped launch Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay for Mastercard issuers in the UK.

I led the Product Management for MasterCard's open loop, contactless payment products in the public transportation sector across Europe.This included driving the take up, implementation and roll out of MasterCard's contactless transit products, as well as continuously assessing and improving MasterCard's transit product proposition.In this role I helped lead innovation in the transit open payments sector, including patent applications, developing MasterCard's transit product proposition for both card and mobile devices, as well as working with transit agencies, issuers, acquirers and other key stakeholders to help drive the adoption of contactless payments in the transit sector.I helped deliver MasterCard's support for open payment acceptance on London's buses including the expansion this to the entire public transport system in London.I also led developments with a number of other key public transportation agencies, systems integrators, terminal suppliers, acquirers and issuers across the European region.I represented MasterCard at the UK Cards Association and regularly represent MasterCard at trade events.

My role was to work closely with vendors and other business partners to help deliver MasterCard's payment applications (M/Chip) out to market. The role involved supporting vendors with their business relationship with MasterCard, assisting with various approval processes and providing technical assistance where required.The role involved working in the team to deliver M/Chip Advance - MasterCard's flagship card application specification - to the card payments industry.

My role was to manage chip card application developments. This would involve running the projects from start to finish, following PRINCE II techniques. The work would entail ensuring that the card applications were developed to the highest possible standards, were well documented and would meet all of the functional, performance and security requirements that are demanded of modern payment applications. I also assisted in the Chip Centre's Project Management Office, including working to improve and simplify process, helping with annual planning, and regular reporting.

Reporting to either the head of department or a senior project manager, I was responsible for project planning, project management, line management of eight staff (reporting directly to me), gathering requirements and estimates, short and medium term planning of resources within the department, training, and recruitment. I managed projects for ATM Remote Key Loading, MasterCard Clearing and AMEX Issuing. I was the lead technical consultant on an EMV Migration project for a leading Eastern European bank. I was also the ATM Business and Technical Specialist and was responsible for liaising with the third parties and ensuring mutual projects were undertaken with ease.I was also the ATM Business Specialist and I have extensive technical and business knowledge of this area of the product.

Management of several projects for EMV acquiring. Responsible for gathering estimates, preparing plans (in Microsoft Project), progress reporting of dates and budgets, quality control, work distribution and monitoring. Managing individual projects with approximately five people, with a total of around twenty people reporting to me and the head of department. Work also included acting as a technical consultant, assisting team members with technical issues and business issues within the product. Also involved with the recruitment of Analyst Programmers.

Assisted the project manager in leading the team, helping out with performance reviews and communicating issues between team members and senior management.

Worked on multiple projects in C, PHP and Java, including developing a new Web Front end to the company’s retail banking software.
