I am currently a Vice President at Mastercard for Digital Payments, focusing on defining and delivering APIs and other technical solutions for our customers for the purposes of automated and streamlined onboarding, and connecting to our digital systems. Additionally, I help to define our strategy for new technologies and future proof our digital products.Previously at MasterCard I focused on Secure Remote Commerce (SRC) and tokenisation as well as the impacts of regulation (such as PSD2) on our digital products. I also have extensive experience in NFC/contactless payments, chip (EMV) cards and transit. I helped launch Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay in the UK and other European markets, and launched contactless payments in Transport for London (TfL) which has now seen over 1 billion journeys with bank cards.With over 19 years of experience in card payments, I have developed skills in EMV, NFC, digital payments, tokenization, regulation, issuer and acquirer host systems, and much more. I am involved in developing patents to help create new, novel and innovative ways to further enhance the payments industry, and am also an experienced people manager, having managed teams across multiple countries.
