From baby start-ups, to agencies, to corporations, I’ve had my hands in just about everything. Recently, 
I was the Art Director at Nextbite where our focus was 
on Food and Beverage. Together, with an incredible team, we produced content for Nextbite’s portfolio of over 25 restaurant brands.I’m not saying startup experience makes you the best designer, but it certainly makes you a more diverse and 
well rounded designer. In an early stage startup, we all wear many hats which force us to spread our wings and learn new things. I’ve been doing that the last 10 years, getting my hands dirty and digging into all the other things designers don’t usually prefer to do.The last 5 years at Nextbite have been incredibly 
integral in shaping my approach and style of leading 
and supporting other creatives. I’ve gone from a team 
of 1 to a team of 10, and through it all, I’ve learned that 
my true passion is people, especially creatives. I get energized from mentoring and coaching and I’m constantly blown away by what other creative people 
can make. Design is a limitless outlet that always 
surprises me.
