I am a Paralegal currently assisting clients and attorneys at Schaff Law Group. I have experience in case management, client satisfaction and communication, claim preparation and submission, legal writing and proactively assisting attorneys.After graduating from California State University, Sacramento in 2015, I spent roughly 5 years as a sales representative for Verizon Wireless and a licensed health insurance agent for eHealth, During my time in sales, I learned crucial phone and information system skills that help me in my Paralegal career today. I also learned how to connect with clients to better discover and understand their needs.I made a career change to legal assisting in 2020 and began a new role as a Client Support Specialist at Kershaw, Cook & Talley (KCT) / Kershaw Talley Barlow. I also enrolled in the Paralegal Studies Program at American River College. During the next two years (2020-2022), I gained legal assisting experience at KCT while completing an Associate Degree & Post-Graduate Certificate in Paralegal Studies. I left KCT/KTB at the end of February 2023 and I am very grateful for the my time.In March 2023, I joined the brilliant and talented attorneys at Schaff Law Group. As a “Swiss Army Knife,” I assists with case planning, client communications, legal research, administration, legal document drafting, and other support level tasks. I look forward to learning and growing in my new role.
