I’m constantly keeping up on new front-end technologies and I’m always willing to share that knowledge with other developers. Learning new tools is one of the most exciting parts of my job. I work equally as well independently as I do on a team, whether is comes to single-handedly developing a front-end or collaborating with others across the entire stack.During my life, I think I’ve lost count how many times I’ve overheard someone saying “Who made this garbage?” in frustration at some piece of software they were using. That’s one of the reasons why during the first five years of my career I was distilling users needs into straightforward and intuitive web applications. After this period of deep involvement in the greater Angular ecosystem and the Ionic UI framework for creating mobile-first experiences, I wanted to build a more diverse set of skills.I've also spent a brief period of time gaining some experience in how analytics are leveraged in web applications to gain insight into user behavior. Unfortunately, this position was mostly implementing tracking requests coming from the data science team, and I knew it wasn't going to be challenging enough for me.I transitioned to my current job where I not only get to jump into the React ecosystem, but also am exposed to many different technologies as each client project has it's own unique requirements. Lately I've been chasing my aspiration of becoming more "full-stack" as recent implementations have needed me to have working knowledge of several AWS services.
