I like to get things done and can be impatient! Through nearly 30 years of working in the accounting industry I can quickly grasp what business owners want to achieve even when it isn’t totally clear in their own minds. Being the Managing Director of our firm gives me a perspective in common with other business owners and I can build a clear picture fast, making sure that the key people in a business can see the wood for the trees. I love projects with the potential for great outcomes – working closely with clients who want things to be better. Clients who work with me benefit from seeing the key things they need to protect their current financial position – and to improve their financial world. It’s all presented well, with clear conclusions and actions. I have been involved with many acquisitions, designing transactions so that clients are set up financially and I’ve learnt that it is crucial to be able to communicate the complex in simple terms. I can also produce great tax results by understanding the whole picture and putting cash in the hands of clients.In the past I have held various Board positions and at the moment I’m Vice President of the South Australian Cricket Association, on the Board of Aldinga Shore Retirement Village as well as acting as pseudo Director for many of my client's businesses.
