As the son of an English teacher, I grew up learning the language and how to improve my speech and, in particular, my writing. I'm thankful that my essays were scrutinized more than the average student's. It helped me improve and it also helped grow my own passion for writing and editing. When the opportunity came for me to become an Editor at Canada's largest newswire service, I jumped at the chance. I would use my knowledge and passion to improve communications and save clients from embarrassing typos and/or bad grammar. Calling a client to let them know that I caught something crucial before it was sent out and hearing their relief was very rewarding. After 14 years working at CNW/Cision, I moved back to London to work in Communications for Canada's largest fitness company. After two years of editing and writing blogs, articles, and communications, it was clear that I loved what I did. But I felt that I could do more. I decided to become independent and help more organizations improve their communications. As the Chief Writer and Editor for jpwritely, I help clients communicate effectively and confidently through various types of content, such as websites, blogs, resumés, documents, news releases, and presentations. With more than 20 years of experience in editing, writing, and improving client content across multiple industries and platforms, I use my skills in grammar, news media, communications, and writing to assist my clients.Understanding the challenges and pressures of meeting tight deadlines and delivering high-quality content, I am driven by a deep passion for helping clients.
