On any given day I could be screening a new power generation technology, digging into our financial models, attending a conference, or reshaping corporate strategy. I pride myself on being a good listener and building up the team to be their best.In a research setting, I have experience with organo-metallic synthesis, graphene characterization, and hybrid organic solar cell fabrication; however, the focus of my PhD work was using nanomaterials for ultra-fast signal processing and energy harvesting. In my work at 8 Rivers I look at hydrogen, direct air capture, and zero-emissions power systems. I'm generally curious in all things science.On top of my PhD, I have a Certificate in Entrepreneurship through the Kenan-Flagler Business School. Through the certificate I worked with several early-stage companies defining product strategy, building pitch decks and business plans, and pitching to investors.Hobbies:I am an active member of the Ultimate Frisbee community and have been playing since I was 13.
