 Managed a cross-functional team across the manufacturing planning department, monitored performance and ensured the consistent achievement of operations targets. Led day-to-day operations of the Machine shop, XMT A&T, Manifold Fabrication, Controls and V&C for a total of approximately 350,000 man hours per year. Ensured the team had the necessary strategies, training and development plans to consistently achieve in line with business objectives. Planned work flow, assessed priorities, allocated timescales and distributed work per level of expertise required.  Managed a Lean manufacturing program and all A3’s in PK and communication to the global head of lean manufacturing. Maintained strong stakeholder relationships, influenced decisions and ensured effective communication through all project stages.  Introduced Lean tools across the department including 5S, PFMEA and Gauge R&R. Delivered global pressure testing safety standard training, assessed performance, conducted appraisals and recognised individuals’ needs for further coaching and training. Reviewed RA/MS (risk assessments & method statements) and promoted workforce involvement in all HSE activities. Managed main backlogs including 58 SCM’s at Total Kaombo and 43 subsea wellhead sets at Total Kaombo. Established a positive and productive site environment, accommodated the roles and needs of diverse teams to promote a cohesive team-based culture, maximised potential and enhanced performance of the team. Analysed current team performance, mapped trends and developed/implemented action plans to improve performance.

 Recruited to a newly established role in Port Klang Manufacturing centre reporting to VP XMT. Led a team of 3 including an A&T Manager, Master Scheduler and Methods & Improvement manager. Implemented Lean and cellular manufacturing concepts as well as the setup of KPI’s /Metrics a PDCA methodology and 5S. Readied PK A&T for volume subsea wellhead 43 sets for Total Kaombo and the transfer of 23 WIVXT XMT’s for Total Kaombo. Successfully increased output to accommodate demand from 7 to 16 to 24 trees per year 2012, 2013 and 2014.  Detected unsafe practices and conditions, ensured standards were aligned with safety requirements. Implemented Manufacturing Start Of Work Process, slot planning and created additional pull throughout the supply chain. Managed safety and delivered zero LTIs in 2013 across the PK XMT department.

 Successfully implemented S&OP process for Global Subsea business and received the GSCM Excellence Award. Created a monthly Global slot plan report out to senior executives and identified pain points across the integrated supply chain. Implemented the Global standard slot plan across all Subsea Tree and controls build facilities Aberdeen, Singapore, Brazil, Angola and Nailsea.ntroduced Sale & Operations planning to the Surface Product sector. Applied a V reactive approach to better prepare the supply chain for anticipated customer demand Reduced production cycle times and increased long term forecast visibility for sourcing. Secured management approval store approximately USD 15 Million of finished products before subsequently reducing costs. Exceeded performance expectations and received an excellence award for boundary less collaboration from Land/Surface Products Platform. Completed project at surface manufacturing facility in Mexico City that assessed process and capability. Successfully managed the first manufacture of CH55 surface actuators for Maersk from a GE Joint venture manufacturing plant in Shanghai, China.

 Managed a team of 6 as well as Subsea tree build, SC&P fabrication repairs as well as CDE & rental tool repair. Oversaw a period of significant growth in Luanda and Angola between 2005 to 2009 as well as the continuation and increase in CDE repair business with Ocean Rig. Managed the facility through several EPC projects including the Lobito Tomboco Project, Exxon Mobil Kizomba C project and delivered zero impact on the first oil date. Obtained required funding and managed a USD 4.5 Million facility and office expansion that doubled both the workshop and facility capacity to allow for Subsea Tree build In Country.  Led successful negotiations for the ExxonMobil TSA agreement with approximately $...MUSD revenue per year.
