I am responsible for helping grand open the new Ikea Merriam store. I help in the selection process of coworkers and their training for the initial grand opening and there after. I'm responsible for customer relations which includes 4 different departments. I ensure our relationship with our delivery company is in good standing while handling claims and invoicing for them. I follow up with customers who have problems with there articles or experience shopping at our store.

I am responsible for sales proficiency for a team of 10+ employees. I am involved with hiring and training of new associates within the computers department. I handle all of the employees appraisals and performance management from daily coaching, weekly check ins, monthly business planning, quarterly development, & annual appraisal. I own labor productivity based on teams performance along with P&L management.

Created a network of clients. I would call and build relationships with different contractors throughout the country. We would discuss clients current state of business and come up with a marketing plan that would help bring in more business for that client.

I was responsible for day to day operations of that location. I was in charge of hiring, training, and performance management of the staff. I had to control daily our labor and food costs. I would complete daily deposits and weekly inventory. I was responsible for P&L monthly and ensuring restaurant met health code requirements.
