This was a 7-month secondment work term.Produced interactive and actionable BI dashboards for different business units on campus. These dashboards help discover hidden trends and assist the leadership in making informed strategic business decisions:1. University Financial Analytics Dashboard//- UBC Finance can now easily perform financial benchmarking against all other post-secondary institutions in Canada.2. Usage Tracking Analytic Dashboards//- UBC IT can quickly analyze usage patterns for selected financial reporting systems (SERA-FAR, SERA-TAM and FMS-nQuery) as part of the continuous improvement efforts.//- The dashboard can clearly identify:--- Peak times (ideal windows for maintenance to reduce service disruption)--- Popular reports (interview users for continuous improvement)--- Less popular reports (decommission candidates to reduce resources - storage and ETL)--- End users and their actions (identify potential canned reports to reduce query time for users)3.
