Cancer biologist with extensive experience in oncology drug discovery, in vivo translational studies, target validation and drug mechanism of action studies.My focus at Abbvie involves identifying and validating the mechanism of action and activity of novel biologics for use as future cancer therapies. I am currently the research lead for a clinical stage antibody drug conjugate program.Previous work involved establishing and managing the running of Cytokinetics in-house in vivo oncology efforts. This work focused on tumor efficacy, mouse tolerability, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies on their small molecule anti-mitotic oncology compounds. I also was involved in early oncology discovery efforts including in vitro target validation.Previous experience include mechanisms of chemoresistance to DNA-damaging agents and transcription factors associated with drug sensitivity in breast cancer.Specialties: Cancer biology, pharmacology, drug development, study/project management, in vivo models, cell signaling and cell biology techniques
