I replicated our physical test setup in FEA software(ABAQUS, LS-DYNA) to examine the best configuration that maximizes surface energy density. I also created a python script to run simulations of actuators at various frequencies overnight, saving approximately 50+ hours of work.Our team then applied this research in order to create more advanced haptic effects such as a realistic button press.
