Financial controls lead for two regional ERP implementations – SAP and MS AX.● Led rollout of global control standards to more than 100 reporting units entailing over 4,000 control instances; reduced significant control deficiencies by 66% and achieved 96% compliance.● Implemented specialist controls software in selected markets and Group Finance, enabling consistency of testing approach, standardisation of documentation and transparency of results.● Remodelled global control framework as control ownership moved to shared service centres, providing clarity to control owners, senior stakeholders and external auditors.● Designed and saw through to implementation a suite of critical financial controls built into SAP, replacing existing manual processes that were often not performed timely or consistently.● Oversaw a seven-figure departmental budget while establishing and developing a team of twelve internal control specialists with hires from China, India, US, and UK.
