I am a seasoned and agile labor and employment attorney and litigator with 15 years of experience adept at working across multiple domestic and international jurisdictions, with a strong emphasis on achieving business results using practical and creative solutions to navigate complex legal framework, while minimizing risk.I have spent the last 10+ years representing and counseling clients on labor and employment law issues. I have represented clients ranging from small businesses to large public entities and large multi-national corporations. As in-house counsel, my day is spent actively managing risk by counseling internal clients through employee discipline issues, hiring issues, terminations, harassment investigations, employee handbook/policy implementation and strategic workforce decisions, all while helping them further specific business goals. In addition to my day-to-day responsibilities, I negotiate collective bargaining agreements, draft collective bargaining documents, and manage outside counsel/legal spend for all labor and employment matters. Additionally, I am also responsible for implementing and managing special projects to help further specific business goals. I have significant experience negotiating and drafting CBAs, settlement/severance agreements, arbitration agreements, executive contracts/compensation agreements, employment contracts, and non-solicitation/non-compete agreements. I have extensive experience litigating a wide variety of claims ranging from wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation, discrimination, whistleblower claims, administrative charges, unfair labor practice charges, breach of contract, and other employment issues and complex litigation before state courts, federal courts and administrative agencies, including the NLRB. I have considerable experience running depositions and mediations as well as drafting and arguing motions.My ultimate goal is to provide my clients with the best possible advice to avoid litigation while helping them further their businesses objectives. If litigation ensues, I take great steps to defend clients zealously but efficiently.
