Have worked to develop and release Defender and Range Rover products; introducing new technologies, developing new toolsets, as well as mentoring junior engineers and leading project teams. This has led to me being the inventor on a filed patent. Have developed toolsets and simulation methods for vehicle lid (bonnets, tailgates, charge flaps etc) kinematics, dynamics and structural requirements for both powered and manually operated systems. I have introduced new industry toolsets to the team I work in (Inspire, SimSolid, Simulink including Motion Solve/Multibody) to enable more structural analysis to be performed earlier, model dynamics and perform topology optimisation. I have a Master's degree in mechanical engineering with distinction from the University of the West of England and have received the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.
