"ABUSIT" is the business side of "That Computer Guy". My role is to implement the systems that the company operates by. I decide who works for the company and what kind of work they perform. I set the standard that everyone lives up to and I sort out problems when they arise. As a business we setup and maintain working environments for companies large and small. We do everything from setting up workstations, servers and databases to building business systems based on new and existing workflow. In the past we have built systems that run schools, retail sales, restaurants and trade businesses.

dbdesk is a reseller of the Teamdesk platform. Jamie is listed on the Teamdesk experts page and offers help to people that run their business using the platform.

I steer the ship. I set the standards and the buck stops with me. I try to be a good role model and improve the lot for all of us that are involved. As a result I get paid the least and live the job. There is rarely a time I get to turn off but I wouldn't have it any other way. This is real life, sink or swim. Its so exciting to see everyone benefit from the things we try as a company.

I was part of a team responsible for national support for CorelDRAW all across Australia. The team started with 6 but as we got better we needed less people. After 3 years of support, I was the last tech supporting the product. I learned a lot of the skills I use today in this job.

Dj in a show lounge. I would introduce the acts, play music and act as the Master of Ceremonies. This was a fun job but didn't really have any career prospects. The job ended when my girlfriend said it was her or the club. I tried to explain that when you have seen this many naked women it didn't mean anything any more... Not a good argument.
