• Logging, prioritisation and escalation of IT support issues and requests using the SupportWorks ITIL helpdesk software for secretarial, academic, researchers and students over several sites around the East Midlands.
• Resolution of IT support issues and requests either remotely or in person for users over several campuses around Nottinghamshire.
• Configuration and installation of roughly 100 new PCs for the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Physiotherapy and the faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
• Installation, configuration and deployment of Canon photocopiers within the Queens Medical Centre.
• Imaging of desktops and laptops, configuring them for use on the Universities network and installing specific hardware and software depending on the user’s requests.

• Temporary Contract, duties included but were not limited to:
• Troubleshooting and resolution of a wide range of IT support problems either remotely or on-site for around 200 users over several offices around England.
• Installation and configuration of new computers, wireless access points, and network data points.
• Responsible for the daily backup of around 8 servers including a UNIX accounts machine.
• Locating and labelling all IT related equipment, working and broken, along with designing and creating a full asset registry.

• Left due to redundancy, duties included but were not limited to:
• Daily IT support, maintenance and advice to around 100 users over several sites.
• Implementation of a new spam filter, antivirus and firewall.
• Implementation and configuration of a Cisco network across all sites allowing secure remote access for remote employees.
• Implementation and configuration of wired/wireless networks, PCs, laptops, servers and printers at offices and construction sites.
• Solely responsible for the relocation and re-installation of all the IT equipment from the Frudd office to the Sol office upon the companies take-over.
