I am a Bachelor of Computer Science graduate from Grand Valley State University. My professional career thus far has centered around bridging the gap between hardware and software. I've interfaced microcontrollers, as well as Windows and Linux machines, with various industrial machines. This work involved using languages like MicroPython, C, and occasionally Node-RED, to capture and upload data to the cloud via MQTT.In my current role, I've taken the lead in setting up a customized Grafana Docker image on AWS, ensuring efficient and reliable data visualization services. I've managed data storage using both timeseries and relational databases, balancing performance with scalability.A significant aspect of my work has been developing Grafana plugins. For backend plugin development, I've utilized Golang, while for frontend development, I've used TypeScript. These custom plugins are designed to cater to the unique requirements of our customers, showcasing my ability to create tailored software solutions.
