Joined Smollan Headcount in April 2007 as Account Director and has risen to the position of Commercial Director.Is responsible along with other senior executives for the strategic leadership and direction of the company, ensuring that the desired strategies are accomplished by managing and directing appropriate teams and senior level executives.Has gained extensive experience within all the disciplines of tactical and strategic field marketing including events and road shows, door to door sales, merchandising, auditing, demonstrations, sampling and data collection. James works on and with some of the world’s largest blue chip organisations on a daily basis to maximise growth and harness manpower across the UK, Eastern & Western Europe and Africa.Currently responsible for the development and implementation of market and business development strategies. This includes identifying new opportunities, developing new client relationships, creating business proposals and writing bids. James takes the lead on managing client relationships and ensuring that the board and management team are kept informed of market opportunities and business development. On the management side, James leads the business development, sales, customer service and marketing teams. James also have ultimate responsibility for managing the directorate budget and overseeing all client budgets and reconciliations.
