Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, I led Premier Inn’s corporate responsibility programme, Good Together. I developed and refined the strategy to be central to the company’s business plan and a fundamental part of the organisations operating philosophy.Key achievements:1. Developing an award-winning environmental strategy to position Premier Inn as the largest, most sustainable hotel brand in the UK. 2. A new energy management programme with a short-term focus on efficiency led to strong financial returns for the business in the first three years. 3. Driving programmes of work to achieve existing corporate goals (charity fundraising, water efficiency, landfill diversion and recycling targets).
