I've spent most of the last thirty years working on what became internet technologies, beginning with extensive work on e-mail in all its forms. During recent years I have been involved at CTO level in information security - at MessageNet, Activis/Articon-Integralis, BlackSpider (co-founder), SurfControl/Websense - much of the time working on e-mail scanning technologies. Following BlackSpider's acquisition by SurfControl, I continued my role in leading the former BlackSpider technical team - Development, Operations and Service Delivery.Now I am building another new business with ex-colleagues: Workbooks - a place for businesses to operate more effectively.
